Threshold และ Rearmed และอื่นๆ แปลว่า

ค่า Threshold คือ ค่าสมมุติที่ตั้งไว้เหมือนเป็นจุดตรวจสอบ เช่น เราตั้ง Threshold ของการใช้งาน Hard Disk โดยสมมุติว่าตั้งไว้ที่ 90 % เมื่อการใช้งาน HDD ถึง 90% เมื่อไร แปลว่าถึง Threshold ซึ่งเราอาจจะมี Action อย่างไรต่อไป

ค่า Rearm เป็นค่าที่ถูกกำหนดขึ้นก่อนที่ค่า threshold จะถูกเคลียร์ออก ครั้นที่ข้อมูลที่ถูกดึงออกมา ค่าที่ได้ถึงระดับ threshold มันก็จะสร้าง threshold event ขึ้นมา ค่า threshold ที่ได้เป็น disarmed หลังจากนี้ threshold event จะถูกสร้างขึ้นอีกครั้ง

ยกตัวอย่างเช่น ถ้าค่า threshold = 1000 และค่า rearm = 800 เมื่อค่าที่ได้รับเป็น 1200, 1500, 2000, 500, 1100 ต่อไปเรื่อย threshold event จะถูกสร้างขึ้นเมื่อมันได้รับค่า 1200 ถึงแม้ค่าต่อๆ ไปเป็น 1500 และ 1200 threshold event ก็จะยังไม่ถูกสร้างขึ้น เมื่อค่าต่อไปเป็น 500 ซื่งต่ำกว่าค่า rearm ตอนนี้ rearm event จะถูกสร้างขึ้น เมื่อระบบได้รับการ rearm  ระบบจะสร้าง threshold event ขึ้นอีกครั้งสำหรับค่าที่สูงกว่าระดับต่อๆ ไป

Rearm value is the value at which previously generated threshold will be cleared. Once a PolledData object satisfies a threshold and generates an event , it gets disarmed.After this,threshold event will be generated again.

The rearm value is used like this. For example if the threshold and rearm values are 1000 and 800 respectively for a max type long threshold and the collected values are 1200,1500,2000,500,1100 … and so on, a threshold event of specified severity will be generated for the first collected value of 1200. Even though the second and third values satisfy the threshold, threshold events will not be generated as the PolledData object is not yet rearmed. The fifth value of 500 is below the rearm value and hence the PolledData will be rearmed and a rearm event will be generated. After PolledData gets rearmed , threshold event will be generated again for the next value and so on.
